BATTERSEA PARK [York Road & Battersea Park]

Built by the London, Brighton & South Coast Railway in 1867. The main building is an imposing 3 storey structure occupying the "V" between two sets of running lines. It was designed by Charles Henry Driver who was also responsible for the nearby stations at Denmark Hill and Pechham Rye (both featured elsewhere on this site). Operated by Southern. CRS code: BAK
