QUAINTON ROAD
6th August 2004

A Metropolitan Railway station on the former Metropolitan & Great Central Joint Line. The station is now the focal point of the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre. The remaining single line through the station is used for freight but it sees passenger shuttles from Aylesbury on summer bank holidays as well as the ocasional Chiltern Railways driver training working. The site is now also home to the LNWR building from Oxford Rewley Road. Please see the Oxford to Bletchley section of my Disused Railways site for pictures of Rewley Road.
