AYLESBURY VALE PARKWAY
17th December 2008

Aylesbury Vale Parkway was opened on 12th December 2008 and is situated on the former Metropolitan and Great Central Joint Line just north of Aylesbury. It is operated by Chiltern Railways and has an hourly off-peak service to London Marylebone via Amersham. Peak services are slightly more frequent. The platform is situated on a siding which diverges off the single line Aylesbury - Claydon route, unusually making it a bay platform with no main platforms. The station opened on schedule but was far from finished and the permanent buildings did not open until late May 2009. CRS code: AVP.
