A former Midland Railway junction station where the loop line to Ashchurch via Redditch, Alcester and Evesham left the main Birmingham - Bristol line. The branch now terminates at Redditch and forms the southernmost section of the Cross City Line from Lichfield. The main line platforms are retained for a few peak time services.
